Hakodate KOSEN Festival
Make sure to drop by our 63rd school festival, "縁 (Enishi)"! A student-run festival at Hakodate KOSEN, packed with food stalls, department exhibits and live stage acts, all made by students. Come for the fun, stay for the new bonds you will make along the way.

Getting here
Please come by public transport (streetcar or bus). Parking is very limited, so please do not come by car. Do not park at nearby Hakodate University, convenience stores or supermarkets.
What you can enjoy
- Food stalls: classes, clubs and teams sell food and drinks across the campus.
- Department exhibits: five departments show their research and projects.
- Stage performances: bands and dance groups at the Taiheiyo Cement Arena (2nd gymnasium). Saturday 12:40-15:50, Sunday 10:40-14:50.
- Stall popularity election: results are announced on Sunday from 15:40 at the same arena.
The fireworks and the grand lottery are for people on campus only.
Rules for everyone
- The whole campus is smoke-free, indoors and outdoors.
- Alcohol and tobacco may not be brought in.
- No moshing, crowd surfing or climbing onto the stage. Water-based fog is used in some stage shows.
- Please ask before taking photos of people or company booths. Some exhibits do not allow photos.
- If you feel unwell, tell the nearest staff member or go to the headquarters. In case of fire, follow the staff and evacuate calmly to the sports ground.
